I donīt have PPP but I have decat. Do it. Others might have different advise relating to overboost problems from PPP and full decat.

Stevie - I have a MY00WRSUKTub with PPP and have just fitted a Magnex Twin Dump Down Pipe. What can I say but the car feels so much better. I did however completely lag the Down Pipe with CoolTek Exhaust Wrap and performed an ECU reset. Car has been transformed and I cannot get rid of the permanent smile I have now. Don't get me wrong the car was quick before but this just makes it spool faster and boost stronger ohh yea and the exhaust note is more throaty...just need to swap out the Prodrive Back Box for more sound . I cannot recommend this enough - and have had no problem (so far) with overboosting...although I must admit I have bought a GBE Manual Boost Controller just incase Do it you won't be disappointed.

Hope this helps....if you want any more advice etc. then mail me on scoobykarl@hotmail.com

but don't throw away the downpipe with the cat in as you may need it to pass emmissions at MOT

cheers

Good Point Sinky - and thats another thing - you save weight too - have you felt the weight of the 'catted' pipe rather than the decat

You could consider a 3" open neck down pipe from either RCMS or Hayward and Scott with a 3" Revolution exhaust system. Your spool will improve and you will pull another 2psi boost. Also consider a K+N Panel filter if you have not done anything in that area yet. After that any more mods will need a re-map. If you have the inclination to get the headers off, porting them PROPERLY will also show noticable power gains.

yes go for the open neck type downpipe, not the twin dump neck type thingy one ,,magnex i think,,,some poeple like the magnex but it has suffered poor build quality in the past and personally i cant see the point to it as the small pipe from the actuator gate gets blocked when it opens anyhow.

the open neck gives you much more gains,,i have the group A tsl version, but have had the scoobysport version before and will allways go for the open neck type.

what centre section are you going for ????

dont forget you will have flames and popping /banging comming from the exhaust if you have a k&n and a dump valve with a soft spring !!!!

all the best
