I have a MY00 Turbo with a Cat 1 alarm/immobiliser. I am wanting to buy a Turbo Timer but firstly want to know whether it can be fitted with the Cat and secondly which timer togo for?

I personally prefer the Manual Turbo Timer known as the driver, this does not interfere in any way with your Thatcham Certification, because with the Sigma you can not arm the alarm until the Turbo Timer has shut down the car.

I can think of better ways to spend circa £100 on my car TBH with you.

Ian - thanks fair point - I just get a little fed up sitting in the car for a minute or so waiting when a turbo timer would at least enable me to remove the keys and go indoors until the Timer had switched off.

If fitting a timer could invlidate your Cat 1 certification then -I think I'll take your advice and leave it
