I thought I had heard on here before that a remap is almost essential to avoid any engine damage with a decat?

Hello matey,
I have just had my magnex de-cat downpipe fitted to my scoob she sounds sexy ,From what i was told if your ecu is set below 1.2 bar boost it shouldnt spike,Im running 1.9bar boost and she performs better now than ever ,I have almost zero turbo lag .Definatly well worth doing ............

SORRY made a mistake,
If you are running1.2 bar boost or over you should have no need to get your boost adjusted, However mines running at 1.09 so just under 1.2 and she's absolutly spot.
