I let some amature service my 106 Rallye (The scooby only goes to main dealer) and he has put the wrong spark plugs in.

He has put in Y8 and I am told I need 5962W4.

What does this mean and will it make a difference to the way the car runs?
Am I endangering the engine by having the wrong plugs?
cheers
Andy
