Unhappy

My 01 wrx goes very well but suffers from hesitation - some days worse than others.
Acceleration is in definate stages instead of being instant as other wrx's i've tried. Garages have never been able to cure problem. Has enyone heard of this problem and does anyone know of a cure.

My MY02 does this as well. CEL light is on pretty much all the time now. Logging misfires in various cylinders. Mainly cyl 3. Dealer just shrugs and blames the mods. decat, Ecutek, ITG filter.

Interested to know what you find.

Hoffy.. I had the same problem on a MY01 Bugeye WRX and I eventually found that the plastic "T" peice that the boost gauge was connected to had a small crack in it.. 50p later and a new peice fitted and all is fine now.
