Question

Hi there,

im aware that if a car is over 10 years old it does not need an sva, and im under the impression that it only needs a UK reg, mot , car tax to be road legal, does anyone know what u need to change for mot, and will it pass emmisions on a mondded exhaust (93 wrx)

could anyone clarify this?

Regards

Frost

not sure about the SVA, but i do know that a UK mot station WILL fail the car if the CAT is removed....but having said that take it to a VERY VERY nice MOT guy and they will help you out.....

all the best

I an under the presumption that an "SVA" test is a "one off" and not required every year, just for the first one, thats all, but as you say, with modded exhaust, you may have to do some searching to find a station who may pull a blind on for the emission test.
