Hi mate, just tried to mail you but it got rejected. If you can mail me as per profile, if you have any info regards what i'm looking for, would be great.
Just looking for somthing that can increase the cars performance and drivability, not to risk reliability.

All sorts available, but the Scooby ECU which David / Pavlo etc does is bloody good. Had one on my old WRX and it was akin to adding a full decat on there, and mapped for optimax.

Cant beat it value for money, and loads of people use them.

Others are over a grand, but also very good. Link ECU, Motec, GEMS etc. Do a search for them.

Cant remember the price of the Scooby ECU, was only a hundred quid or so from memory.

I think they have a website, try www.scoobyecu.co.uk

I bought a second hand ECU from a breakers for £60 or so, and sent it to David Wallis to add the map to. Its a plug in piggyback job, so you dont actually have it custom mapped, althought you may be able to have a custom map? Just get in touch with David and he'll explain it all. I just mailed him the year of car, and waht mods etc.

Took a few weeks as David was busy

Its easy to replace. Just unplug the passenger footwell carpet and peel it back. Under there is a metal plate, which covers the ecu. Undo the 4 bolts and you can then get to the ECU. It will also be bolted in, and just has 3 block connector looms to remove.

Look at www.ravensblade-impreza.com for more info.

Have fun!
