Rec ently fitted a boost gauge to my MY99,It has full decat and K+N filter. At full boost it reads 0.9 bar very steadily,is this right? I was under the impression that a decat would yeild higher than standard boost?

That is slightly higher than standard boost, isn't it? I thought standard was about 11-12psi (0.7 - 0.8bar)...? Mine (MY00) went up a tad after decatting the down pipe. Then it went up some more after fitting the MBC.

I have an MY02 (TD04 turbo) with TSL backbox, centre decat and sportscat downpipe.

Boost hovers fractionally over 1bar at full pelt - and has peaked at about 1.2/3 on occasion........
not sure if this is a brilliant comparison though since this is a bugeye....
