Question

I have just bought an autometer trans temp gauge to go with my new afr gauge.

2 questions though...for anybody that might know!!

1st, Where would you mount the temp sender?

&

2nd, What sort of temps can i expect for road / track use??

Any feedback would be helpful

I have experiance with Autos which tend to run slightly higher temps than manuals at around 130-140°C MAX (Hard track use).
I would guess that a typical manual gearbox would sit around 110-120°C.
Hope this guestimate helps.
