Ring piece!!!

Hello all, seem to have a leak from the under side of the power steering pot. Have been told it may be th "o" ring... Is this a difficult job to do and please tell me that the "o" ring isn't too expensive.

It's not difficult, and they cost about £1. Make sure you get the correct bit from a Subaru dealer, as normal rubber is eaten away by PAS fluid IIRC.

I didn't realise that the PAS fluid ate normal rubber o-rings!

That's probably why so many of them leak, so soon after they are repaired (including mine).

I'll be seeing my subaru dealer shortly
