Sorry if this topic has been posted before, but for some reason the PC at work won't let me use the search field, says im logged off???

Anyways, Im wondering what oil is best for my 51 plate UK300 PPP as i am looking to get it changed this weekend.

And what better people to ask

Hi Frag, I personally use Mobil 1 motorsport 15w/50. Other recommended oils are: Motul 300V 15w/50 or Castrol RS 10w/60.

BTW are you going to the meet on Sunday? If you are see you then mate.

Drexel's said it all as far as the recommendations are concerned. The only thing to add is that there's a "right" way to change the oil, and it's especially important on an Impreza due to the design of the engine.

Whether you're planning on DIY or getting someone else to do it, it's worth making sure about the way it's done. Have a look here for the skinny.

Cheers lads, ill most likely get it done at dealer as i really cant be assed

I should be going to the meet on Sunday Drex, weather aint looking good mind Then I guess its another chance for u to loose the back end again. hehe
