I recently changed from a Recirculating one to a Vent to air forge - on a MY95 Import with full decat, induction kit.

I fitted it and took the car out for a run, thought A$$se this runs like a bag of nails and its slower than my 306 TD.

Next day I took it for a proper run, and got used to it. Off the line the car is just amazing (To me) and this is just my opinion but its flies and im back on boost in every gear. This compared to before when it felt heavy to get it up and into boost, often loosing ground when changing from 3rd to 4th.

The downside is that it doesnt "feel" as fast as normal because I dont get such a punch, but when u look at the speedo - well usually ur straight on the brakes.

However alot of people dont like them and say they dont do anything, so this is just an opinion. Saying that if u want performance without the noise there are recirc ones that do vent to air when boost is higher.

I told mine because it doesnt add power but they cant argue if I crash

BAILEY DUMP VALVES any point
Well yes, if you want to sound like an RS Turbo Tttchiiiish, yuk!

Get a proper 'Jap' sounding one. Blitz, HKS, Greddy, etc.

All in my opinion

I have a Bailey and it's very good, especially for the price. Had no probs at all and I think it helps at higher revs.

Probably sound like an anorak (and I probably am!) but which dump valves make the cheeping/chattering sounds you hear on rally cars? If I bought one, it would have to sound like that. Not into the ptssst ones in RS Turbos much either although now and again you do hear one of them sounding ok....
