Help! My 99 clasic has developed a noise from the front nearside wheel. Sounds like a rotating grinding sound at low speeds and a whoshing at high speeds. It only does it when it has warmed up.

Are the brake pads low? is the wear indicator striking the disc .
Are the discs badly grooved and the pads catching the dege of the grooves?
Does the noise dissappear when you apply the brakes? if so check pads for glazing on surface.

I've noticed the same thing from Sunday night, just sounded like a lot of tyre noise. I've only had the car three months and have always thought the power steering made too much noise when parking and at low speeds, had it serviced two weeks after purchase but have just checked the power steering levels and it isn't even touching the dipstick, so figure that could be the cause. Also I'm going to check the wear and the PSI on the nearside tyre.....
