After having the big end go on my Impreza(classic) 33K i am running the car back in (after re-build)

Do my service intervals stay the same or do i start agian from scratch?

Car has 34K on now and will be due 60K service in 3 months

i'd do an oil/filter chnge after 1000 miles, then return to normal 7500 intervals. If it had been a full rebuild woudl you suggest starting from zero again.

Wannabe, We recommend oil and filter every 3000 miles and nothingless than 10/W40 or 15/W40 any top brand will do and only synthetic after first 3000 miles.

Good luck David

My car had a bottom end rebuild earlier this year.
Had a oil change 1000 miles later, then carried on as per schedule.

It has 52k now, but had the 60k service 3 months ago

Depends, did they replace all belts/plugs/anything else too. Their are other things they check at 60k that are not new, so you will probably have to have the 60k service to maintain the warrenty

Well worth doing oil and filter change every 3000 miles as David says. Make a significant difference to the wellbeing of the engine.
