From: Leeds - It was 562.4bhp@28psi on Optimax, How much closer to 600 with race fuel and a bigger turbo?

follow the left hand radiator pipe.. it bolts to a metal pipe that runs under the inlet manifold.. it is fitted into this.. to the left of the throttlebody and to the right of the turbo..

If the rad fans *aren't* kicking in, then more likely to be a problem with the fans!
If the coolant temp sensor dies, the ECU normally puts the fans on constantly, and idle when cold will be erratic.

To check the fans, switch ign off... Connect two green plugs under dash and switch ign on (not started) the fans should start up.

Yeah my mistake i got the thermostat and temp sensor mixed up. Looks like the thermostat wasnt opening and so there was never any hot water in the rad.
Is there a temp sensor in the rad that controls the fans?
