I have a query concerning the re-charging of the air conditioning for a 1996 WRX, that I am hoping someone can help me with.
I have not been able to get any cold air from it for a month or so, and so went to book it in for a recharge. The person who is due to do it has drawn a blank trying to to locate a filter either a "Receiver drier" or an "Accumilator" (I think both these parts are the same just different terminology).
My question is has anybody else come across this problem and managed to locate one of the said parts, or should I just go ahead and get the system recharged without replacing the filter thingy.
Any advise would be greatfully received.
Cheers

i think the receiver dryer is the cylindrical tube that has the spy glass in it and the pressure switch although some systems like the new my01 has done away with it.

Cool

Just stick your head out the window! At least you can listen to the SS backbox at the same time - come to think of it, you can listen to mine too...

See you at work on Monday.
