Question

Can anyone tell me where to get a CAT mid section to fit a full Scoobysport stainless straight through exhaust.

Where was the CAT on the factory STi 5 exhaust?

Do I definately need it for the MOT?

There are differing stories about whether you need a cat or not on an import, you 'apparently' don't.
The best way to check, is go and see the garage that you'll be getting to MOT it and ask them.
Not really much help.

As far as I'm aware the MOT stations won't have any immissions figures for import cars so when they test the car they test them as a non-cat car so having no cat shouldn't be a problem!

It depends on who is testing it. The last two stations to do mine used the uk figures even though I told them it was an import. But my WRX hasn't got the centre cat and passed after it was warmed up for a bit. The tester said he thought it was going to fail then the levels just came down Can only presume the cat warmed up and started working properly
