Hmmm, when you mean you had to use 95 RON, did you add a larger amount of octane booster to try and bring it back up to 100? You do use octane booster, no?
You can reset the ECU by disconnecting the battery, but you will find the official, quickest and best method here.
BTW, if your boost has dropped as low as 0.4 bar, I would suspect something other than the unsuitable petrol alone as the cause. Pay close attention to any CEL codes you get during the reset sequence, and if the car isn't back to normal afterwards, seek professional assistance ASAP.

I had to use 95 ron UL fuel as there was **** all else around, normally my car will boost to 1 bar which it did then died down to 0.4, I have since filled up with 97 ron + Octain booster and drivern 15 miles but the car will only boost to 0.5, then after a bit longer 0.6 bar...
No pipes seem to be split, leaking or have come off anywhere, the turbo still spins up from very low down the rev range and the car goes as normal to 0.6 bar then stays there...
I have read that when using this ****e fuel the ECU will need to be reset as it takes along time to adjust its self back to proper fuel...
Can the ECU be reset by disconnecting the battery or does it need to be reset by a Subaru dealer/specialist?.

I disconnected the earth lead from the battery for 1 hour today to see if this would reset the ECU and cure the low boost problem out.
After reconnected the earth lead, and starting her up she idled higher than normal for about 3 mins then droped to 750rpm, went round the block and all was well.
After going for a long drive and the car is now back to normal, boosting to 1.1 Bar, thats on 97 Ron & octane booster, I would use optimax but I have no idea where the nearest Shell garage is???, will have to do a search on the net...
