Have had air/con recharged. Yetit still does'nt really get cold. I hear a air leak type sound from behind glovebox ( could be normal??) when engine turned off Same sort of "gurgulling /woosh " sound. Are there any simple tests for leaks etc. What seals tend to go etc

On an old company car when the air con failed, I took it to a company to get it refilled, they had test device that (I presume) sampled the air around the air con parts. It showed that the condesor had been holed. Take it back and ask them to ckeck for leaks.
