Boost gauge not working?

the scoob ive just bought has got a boost gauge in it but doesnt work.its on the piller so i can see that there is a clear tube comeing out the back of it. as i hav'nt a clue on how to rig these up i dont know why it aint workin.....can any one help me out as i would really like to see what my scoob is boosting at?.......................cheers

So it's a mechanical gauge then... Check under the bonnet and see where that pipe is attached to on the engine and come back to us.
Also check for kinks in the pipe and the pipe is not blocked (blow down it)

just had a look(its bloody cold outside) and it joins to a pipe, one end connected to a senser thingy (on the left just under the end or my strut brace)and the other connects to the middle one of three on the top of the injectors? well, the main part that you see in the engine bay (shiny)
