I have just found a ‘Haynes’ type manual in my Local Halfords produced by Chilton. It claims to cover Impreza, Legacy, Justy, XT, SVX BRAT and L-Series, so that seems to be just about every Scooby ever made! (although it states 1985-96) I haven’t had a chance to look at it yet (well I had to buy one in case it was any good), but will let you know. They come from America, and seem to be sold over here by Porter Publishing (www.portermanuals.com, apparently), and cost £17.99. Halfords have only just started selling them (the one I got hadn’t even made it onto the shelves yet!).

Neil.

I ordered one of these from amazon to help change my plugs and timing-belt. It wasn't very helpful at all, we ended up doing most of it from common sense and using a bottle of tippex !(and my car still runs fine )

Thumbs down

This book is the biggest pile of @RSE EVER

It's even worse than the new style Haynes manuals and that is something that I previously thought impossible

Hmm you may have a point... that must be why they are always wrapped in the shops so you can't look inside them!

I must say, the claim to cover every model ever made did make me wonder!

Oh well, that'll teach me for being so keen - at least this might serve to let others know to save their money!
