Question

Hi chaps I have AP 4 pots as supplied by Scoobie Mania and need to replace the Ferodo DS 2000 pads.

Can any one help me with the code for the pad or the size. Also what sort of price should I pay and of any deals out there.

I'm open to any other recommendations too.

They are for fast road and the odd (4) track day a year.

...Thx Ian.

Ian, radical suggestion I know but why not phone ScoobyMania? They'll even sell you a set!

I take it you've got the 330mm discs, as DS2000 isn't available to fit the smaller 16in APR conversion. You need to confirm.

I've got a parts list at home. Mail me if you like.

Richard.

As for ringing SM...well I have done that in the past and they still didn't tell me exactley what the pad code was and had none in stock.

A sort of we'll order them for you but we won't tell you what they are type thing.

Try Mike Rainbird.

mike@rjpipe.demon.co.uk

Mike quoted me an excellent price for the EBC Greenstuff's pads to fit my AP CP5200 4 pot calipers.

See thread from Ian Sutton under General Questions for a lot of boring but hopefully useful info.

Richard.

PS Why isn't all this in the 'Wheels, tyres and brakes' forum?
