Front grille badge colouring

Is there a way to remove the Subaru badge from the grille to scrape the black paint off the back & paint it a different clour? & has anyone done it & what does it look like?

Cheaper and less painful to get an Pink STI Subaru badge .....looks good on any Scooby........

Took me less than a minute to remove the old and on with the new..........

I've done my badge in red and I reckon it looks great
It really catches your eye...much nicer than boring black!
Be careful when you prise it off though as its rather easy to chip I found...
Lucky for me it was only a small bit at the bottom

Double sided sticky tape,and use steel wool to take paint off rather than sandpaper-takes paint off perfect and leaves no scratches.
