Question

I had the misfortune to hit a hare on the way home from work last night which, apart from knocking the front off the Oscar Plus, ripping out the splashguard and smashing the indicator, also split the bumper/spoiler! Replacing the whole bumper is one option but I am told it could be plastic welded - but you have to know the exact type of the plastic before you can do this, can anyone help please?

Dig thru your local yellow pages or phone and look for The Plastic Surgeon. They can do any type of plastic welding all in situ.

Erm..ABS is used for a hella lot of things nowadays...

I couldn't find the hare, I think it must have vapourised! I wasn't hanging about when I hit it so I don't think it will have known too much about it. Made me feel quite sick though, hitting rabbits and pheasants are one thing, hares quite another......
