Recently, when I turn the ingnition on in my MY96, I hear a slight gurgling/rushing of water from the heating system. Is this normal? The heater continues to work fine, and the car does not overheat/runs fine. Am I worrying about nothing. The car went to PE for a full service recently and had the coolant checked/changed. However, it was making this noise before the service and it's making it still......
Thanks in advance,
Karlos

Sounds like an airlock in the system, or insufficent water in system. But if it happens when the ignition is turned on and car is not started, it's probably something else like the fuel pump priming the fuel lines.

Karlos,
I'm on my second Subaru Legacy, both of which have Climate Control and both of which exhibit the symptoms you describe. Never had a problem with either, so I don't worry about it.
