light weight flywheel

thinking of putting one n my modded 99 impreza, what is a good weight to go for that wont affect the casr idle and is their performance gains to be had from this little mod, its more torque im after

Obviously you won't get more torque from fitting a lighter flywheel, but you may notice the engine is a bit keaner to rev/ pick up faster due to not having to drive as heavy a wheel.

Asked much the same question a while ago m8. Try Alyn at ASPerformance he sorted me out. He reccomends lightening the flywheel to about 8kg ( I think about 4kg lighter than standard) and it will not effect idle etc.
