Question

Does anybody know what other items the Brake Light Warning light is used to show? Mine seems to be on most of the time now. The handbrake is off, the Brake Fluid is about 3/4 full. I thought it might be a 'brake pad' low warning, but I have been told that the Impreza WRX does not have these sensors. Any help?

Mine is a 96WRX so I have no user manual to check.

Many thanks

John

It doesn't have any function other than the two you mentioned. Fill your reservoir to the full marker and check that the float switch is still working correctly.

Pete,

Many thanks for your advice. I filled the Brake Fluid reservoir back to Max and the problem has gone away. Obviously my float sensor is a little on the sensitive side.
