Afriend of mine had a crash the other day...he had an after market suspension kit fitted to his Scooby( it was from Prodrive) the fitting was done by a local subaru dealer..Up to the crash teh car had a wobbly jerky feeling to it....he thought that it was due to the fact that he had crap tyres on..so the tyers went and some new ones put on.....a week after the new ones went on he had the crash....forcing the front suspension up through the radiator etc etc....when the car was taken to teh body shop tehy found that the anti roll bar had 1 to 1/2 centimeter gaps on either sidethe whole bar was dirty and grimy apart from the two sides....which were shiny....the rear suspension bushes were out of line as well.He is getting two more independant mechanics in to review the car.....does any body know where he stand's legally??.....your help would be very much apprecaited.....
PS teh crash happend at about 65mph an a slite left hander.....which he traverses at least 6 times a day!!!!....I am sure you all know that any car (ESP a Scooby will not loose it on a road like that)

Cool

You could traverse the same corner every day for a year and still quite possibly loose it if the conditions dictated... e.g. if it was the first rain in ages and there was some kind of diesel spilage on part of said corner, the fact that you are confident with the bend could work against you as you suddenly loose all traction on one or both axles. What were the weather and road conditions like at the time?

PS: Bear in mind that an insurance company may question the claim if your friend admits to exceeding the speed limit for that road... 65mph would be legal on a dual carriageway or motorway, but nowhere else.
