Taking my dawes off my95 and not sure which pipes go where.
I know the silver ones comes off the boost and the old one with the blank end goes back on but dont know about the others that were cut.

I had this problem a bit ago, the original setup on my sti was ( I think ?) - pipe from turbo, which houses a restrctor goes to a T piece, from this T piece one hose goes down to a solenoid and the other side goes to the actuator, with the dawes you do not have the connection to the solenoid, thereby the ecu does not control boost and you have one pipe from the turbo into the dawes and the other goes from the dawes to the actuator, check though i am not Mister Techy on these things. Failing that go to a dealer to check the original setup or ask on the site for someone to post a piccy for you.

Question

was your dawes arranged so that it went between the actuator and the inlet manifold ?

If so, these need to be connected, but with a tee piece half way. The 'T' then goes to the boost solenoid - The pipe that your blocked off when fitting the dawes should connect to the 'T' to achieve this ...

Hope this helps

Mark
