Hi,

There's been lots of Power Engineering bashing going on in this BBS, and I don't know whether all of it is justified or not (though it seems Anders has had a tough time)

But for the record, I orderd a Blitz filter from them at 3pm yesterday, and it was here at 8am this morning. Good service I say.

Dont think you will find there has ever been a problem with service from PE, regarding deliveries and parts or the rolling road, all the problems appear to have been with the ECU stuff, and not everybody appears to have had a problem with that. I cant/wont comment on that though, its been done to death elsewhere.

And them charging me £115 for a new battery does imply they are a wee bit expensive.

Thanks guys for that. I'll be ordering that 'A' pillar boost gauge from then soon then as they seem to be the cheapest!

I wonder if I'll be able to fit it myself!!?

hehe.. and wouldn't you know it...

Dis-assembled and removed my airfilter box, went to bolt the new air filter on... and waddyaknow.. the filter was the wrong size (the bolt holes didn't match)

I had made sure to tell them that it was for a 98 UK spec machine too, but I reckon I got one for an STI or something. The instructions were no good to me either (were in Japanese) a photocopy of a UK translation would have been useful to an idiot like me.

I guess I should have returned it, but I couldn't be arsed, and knowing my luck, I'd be sent a similar one again !

So after another 2 hours of faffing, I drilled out new holes in the filter, twisted the bracket and filled the originals bolt holes.

It works a treat now (mutter mumble...)
