Hi

I'm in the process of fitting a KnockLink to my Subaru. Any suggestions on where to locate the additional knock sensor? eg. under a manifold bolt? on top of the factory sensor?

Or can I splice into the signal going to the ECU from the factory sensor? Unsure whether this will interfere with ECU operation though.

Thanks
Raymond

* Don't mount it on the factory sensor.

* Don't try and splice the factory sensor.

Many people are happy with them mounted on the inlet manifold, with the sensativity turned up.

I have to agree with Moray on this.
Put it on the manifold and turn up the sensitivity.
