Fitted new headlight bulbs (Halfords Xenon) this afternoon and MY95 bonnet just won't stay closed. Am a little concerned it might fly up at speed.

Anyone else had this problem?

sounds like the catch is jammed or the cable is fouled up. the lid may very easily flip so I would get it fixed quick, might be worth checking the release under the dash maybe its stuck in the pulled position

Get this seen to at once, as it is a major safety hazard!.

I've had a bonnet fly open at speed, and I promise you that you wouldn't like it one bit!

It's being done by the campus garage as I type.

Just wanted to know if there is a history of this type of problem with the Scooby and if new parts and major cost are likely - guess I'll be finding that out in a couple of hours!
