When I'm coasting in neutral

I hear a kind of high pitched whitle / whine from under the car. It's quite quite and you wouldn't hear it with the radio on. Is this something obvious or not?

Its probably just gear whine which becomes apparent because of low engine noise.

I was always told you shouldn't coast in neutral anyway.
