some help needed

having a problem with my scooby either over boosting or its a fuel cut some where. was wondering if there was any scooby experts in the northampton area who would be free to come and give me a second opinion on my car before i take it 2 a dealer and end up spends loads on it,

Overboost and Fuel cut are the same thing.
When the ECU sees the boost is bhond the set limit it cuts the fuel
I take it you don't have any devices raising the Boost (eg. Dawes device).

If it is overboost then check your oil level. If the oil is over filled it gets into the boost solinoid and clogs it up. this causes the overboost!
Try cleaning the boost solinoid with brake cleaner. Do a search for the instruction (it's been covered many times). Its easy to do!!

i got a boost controoler in which u ajust a valve to set the boost levels, ive lowered it 2 8psi and its still cutting out
