Does anyone have any experience of the Blitz induction kit. What are the advantages of such a kit over say Ram air etc.....

Hi there,

I currently run a blitz induction kit. I used to have a Ramair Filter, then tried a HKS induction kit.

Personally I feel induction kits are better - They provide a better throttle response (when combined with a free flow exhaust). There isnt much between them (in terms of performance). The differences occur when you look at filtration. I believe most people are currently using ITG Panel filters, these are near induction kit throttle response - but with very good filtration. These can be obtained from Scoobysport (advertising).

As for Induction kits - I like my Blitz, the built quality is superb (except for the brackets). The HKS is oil based, unlike the Blitz, so it picks up a lot of dirt and hence needs cleaning and re-oiling (unless you buy new foam filter elements).

Cheers,

J.

The fact the HKS filter needs replacing implies it is doing its job well. What is the smallest size of particle that the Blitz kit filters?

Another question....

What - if any - is the recommended way of
cleaning the Blitz filter?
