I HAVE AN MY99 V PLATE UK IMPREZA AND HAVE JUST BOUGHT AND INSTALLED THE ABOVE SAID ITEM,I CANNOT GET IT TO WORK WITH THE STANDARD FIT CAT 1 ALARM AND IMMOBILIZER.IT DOES WORK HOWEVER ON ITS OWN,BUT THIS KIND OF DEFEATS THE OBJECT OF THE TIMER SOMEWHAT,PLEASE COULD ANYONE OFFER SOME ADVICE

How does it defeat the objective of the timer?
I thought the turbo timer was just meant to switch off your engine after a certain time has elapsed... once switched off your alarm/imobiliser should kick in right?
