Question

I am the proud new owner of an Sti 5. I have heard runours of pistons going through the rocker cover if the car is run on regular unleaded? Does anyone know if this is true? Even on long motorway journeys do you have to stick to Super?

The car is designed to run on 100 ron petrol which we cant get in this country the nearest is 98 ron running it on anything else would really be running the risk of serious engine damage.

I would advise that if you plan to do any track days then you should also use an Octane booster.
