Hi
I recently went down to my local scooby dealer and asked what scooby approved performance additions i could us, They advised me to put on the pack the Prodrive have put together and has Subaru UK,s approval.
I t gives uprated brakes, 15% more power and throttle response, exhaust and Ram air filter.
Please has anyone had this kit fitted and how much diferance does it actually make to the standard Scoobs.

It depends what model year car you have, the 99MY pack doesnt include the brake upgrade. The 98MY pack was not 100% succesful, some people had no joy whatsoever, others seem happy with it. Previous to this it does appear to have made a big difference, especially to the 96 MY which had the larger turbo. What year car do you have, and how much did they quote you for it???

I would say you would benefit quite a bit from it with that year, perhaps there is someone out there with the pack fitted to your model year that can give first hand experience.

Hi,
I have an MY96 that I bought with the PPP already installed (well, actually it did have a Subaru air filter when I bought it but a K&N one sorted that out...). 15 months previous to that I had had a similar car for 2 years witout the PPP. It is obviously difficult to compare power figures from memory but one thing that is noticable is the reduction in turbo lag. Much improved.
is it worth it? Not sure I would have lashed out for the PPP. personally I'll be taking it to PE at some stage for their Phase1 conversion. Just got to get the dosh sorted.
Cheers
PS: oh, but the exhaust makes a much nicer noise than standard!
