MY 92 WRX

I changed my o2 sensor at the weekend thinking the mis on idle
was due to this being faulty- no change though.

So started to check sensors, got to the Throttle possition sensor and it found that if I pulled the plug out it went worse, so tried possitioning
it (undooing screws and turning atc) and went better,reset ECU but
today is worse if anything but car is still flying?

Question- in the manual it talks of a setting for throttle possition then a
seperate setting for idle? using a volt meter.

Anybody any ideas/ similar experiences or is the sensor kanckered?
