put the drivers window down this morning with the auto switch, but it did not stop itself, just started banging at the bottom of the door... it goes back up alrite, and i can stop it manually, but i want it right !!

would this be a faulty switch or is there an adjuster in the door to trigger the switch to cut off ??

Take the door card off and check that the 4 bolts that hold the Motor/regulator are secure..
Tis a common problem that the bolts can just drop out

sorted now.. it was the bolts that were loose..
