Question

Will the STI7 wheels fit the Legacy Estate?

Will 225/45/17 tyres fitted to the above cause arch rubbing?

I'm looking into buying new rims and tyres.

Any help would be great.

Thanks

They will rub in the back (inside and out!).

Agree. 225/45's will rub. Some makes of tyre do vary slightly, but it will foul slightly on the shock, and the arch. 215's would be a safer option.

215/40R17 will have do be at least ET48 to clear rear shock absorber. This way you'll still have to do something with wheel arch on the outside.

I decided to go for 16'' wheels and 205/50R16 tyres, just because of the rubbing issue.

Thumbs up

Thanks again.

Will have a re-think (again ) if body mods are required.

Might just stick with the 16"s Ive got now and fit new rubber to these instead.

Cheers Fella.
