Anyone got / had a 'Serpi Star, Gemel GR420' I've been offered this set up on a car I might be buying but I've never heard of them.

Also, just how good are the brakes on an STi V compared to the 4-pot Brembo's. Is it worth transfering my existing brakes (brembo's) to an Sti V ?

Cheers

Dave.

David,

Had a Serpi Star GR420 on my MY96.

No problems apart from occasionally it seemed to 'play up' and kept going off ( Charge level on Battery was low ). This happened on two occasions over the 18 months I had it.

Hope that helps

David,

Apparantly some seem to think it is worth uprating to Brembos, and I'll buy your old set of calipers/discs for a good price!
