i have a uk 300 and know little about them . im lookin for info on what dump valve too fit and is it worth while fitting a turbo timer? thanx

 

Hi Mate,
There are already dump valves on the Scoobs, just not one's that create the big whooosh sound. I've fitted a Blitz dual turbo timer on my UK300. Alot of people don't like them, as it voids the CAT1 alarm/immobilsor, but I have no regrets. I'd rather the turbo cooled down than knackering it up. The dual timer can also determine how long the engine needs to be kept running as well as setting a set time limit for it.
