I am having a curious little problem with the brake warning light on the dashboard display.
For about the last week now, it has been coming on just about every time on cold start-up, indicating that there is a problem with the brakes, presumably that the brake fluid level is low. It always goes off after a little while.
However, having checked the brake fluid level, it hasn't changed at all from it's last service at the beginning of December '98.
On top of that, the brakes feel as they always have done - pretty good (if not amazing!).
I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem, and what it is all about.
Could it be the little switch that makes the light come on is having a little bit of difficulty, such as being a bit clogged or something??

Any comments would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,

JHall
