Hi there

Good to see a fellow auto driver.

I too experience a similar occurance, not a loud bang but I certainly hear something as it comes out of gear and the car settles back. This does not allways happen and Has not got any worse over the years.

If you have any real concerns give AUTOMATICS a call and speak to Craig, he has reworked my box to good effect, very happy. They are somewhere in north London.

If you can't get the number drop me a line and I will dig it out.

Good luck

I had an auto legacy twin turbo with that problem. Changing the gearbox mount cured the noise.
