i am going to be getting a 94-95 impreza awd
manual/stickshift..
i was wondering
It will be either a 1.8 or 2.2 probobly 1.8
-i know that i will get disk brakes for the rear(used) and if i get 1.8 a new engine..
But what type of engine are 2.5's available in the usa, i have yet to fine one....
if not wre can i get get a beter cam for the 2.2 and were is a good place to get a rebuilt 2.2?
I will have a budget of 2-3K dollars
what should i get. i will not have to wory about labor charges because i have worked of cars a little and i also know a mechanic who will help me but i will not see or talk to him for atlest 3 months so i need some help now on what to get.... thanks

T.H., there aren't many tuning parts available for the 1.8 Impreza engine that I know of, though there are quite a few now for the 2.5.

I would recommend talking to Mike Shields at SPD Tuning in the US, to see what he recommends. His web site is
