Question

I'm in Wiltshire I need to know a reputable place to have my Scooby serviced/maintained. It's been run on Silkoline Oil and I'd kind of like to keep it that way. Thanks

Kinda depends which one you are talking about. Helix Plus is a semi-synth and is well suited for cars in the early stages of their lives.

Once beyond the 7-10,000 mile stage though, the most common recommendations here are Mobil 1 Motorsport 15/50, Motul 300V 15/50 and Castrol RS 10/60. IIRC the "Ultra" type Helix is a 0/40, and as such a bit thinner than ideal for a Scoob.

Thumbs up

I'll second snowcrashes's vote for subaru4you, I live in Swindon and go to see Len for my MY97WRX's servicing.

Another for Subaru4you here, if you can travel there (shouldn't be too far?)
