Ok ill try and explain this problem...
When i was doing top speed runs today once the car got to about 145mph the boost gauge and the car were stuttering from 1.2bar down to about 0.9bar.. It felt like fuel cut but not as harsh, if i lifted of the gas slightly it would be ok but with my foot planted on the floor trying to better my top speed the car was spluttering.
I have MY98 UK Turbo with PPP, full decat and panel filter.
Any idea's..........?

Isnt it where the UK cars are restricted to 145mph ?
the ECU cuts boost or something like that, to help protect the engine?

try a dawse and set it @ your current boost level
worked for me
mine has never sudenly jerked or anything, which is why i put up a post about sum kind of soft fuel/boost cut
dont think anybody knew the answer lol

and aperntly the fuel cut is at 1.25 bar for mine and your engines (acording to the sidc website)
so if your guage is slightly out then it may have been actualy hitting sum kind of cut

Micky the fuel cut is higher with the PPP ecu, so dont think it was fuel cut. Its not a problem im going to hit everyday as i dont tend to do 148.2mph round town. Dawes devis was on and was setup ok, i even tryed adjusting it down a bit incase it was hitting a fuel cut...
