How easy is it to remove the mirrors on a MY99 in order to get them colour coded?

 

I recently removed the mirrors on my car for colour coding using info posted by "Miles" on this bulletin board under "ICE-Removing the rear Parcel Shelf to install new speakers etc", his posting with this info was made on 17-01-99.This info is absolutely accurate and I would recommend using it.You also get the added benefit of gaining access to your speakers if you need to upgrade them.One piece of advice -be gentle with the plastic trim pads around the armrests as the small lugs could break.Good Luck!
