Wink

magnet,
check your interior light in the centre of headlining (not map reading lights!). Make sure this is not switched to the permanently off position

Thumbs up

I know it sounds stupid, but try it! Technicians turn them to off when servicing to save the battery/bulb.
Put it on intermittent, ie. comes on when doors open, but switches off when doors shut.
My STi5 'door open light' illuminates when I have mine switched to the permanently off pos.

Should be. The fluid level in the reservoir drops as the pads wear down, as well as if you have a leak. If it drops too far a float switch makes the light come on.

Take the top off the brake fluid resovoir (big yellow cap) and give the floats a poke, they can sometimes stick and cause the light to stay on.

I know of several that have done so.

If not then check your brake pads as they may be low causing the fluid level to drop.

light went out on its own! however!

upon inspection i noticed the off side front capliper was leaking fluid from the main bolt, where the hose attaches.

It was already tight, so i tightened it even more, it turned another few times.
hope this sorts it.

Anyone know how tight these bolts should be?

Maggers old bean,

Forget about the inside roof light i never had it switched on.
